Mikumi national park located between Uluguru mountain nd Lumango range borders to selous border reserve. it’s the fourth largest national park in Tanzania, it covers anarea of 3,230sq km and is rich in wildlife including buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, lion, elephant, impala, hippos, baboon, giraffe, warthog, waterbuck, and eland which can be viewed through the year. The main feature of the park is flood plain which dominated by open grassland
What to Expect
Mikumi is Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park. It’s also the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. With almost guaranteed wildlife sightings, it makes an ideal safari destination for those without much time.
Mikumi was our first visit to Afrika. We were flashed by the nature and the wildlife. After arriving with a propeller plane, the giraffes welcome us. It has been an incredible experience. We are thankful for all what we have seen
